Seasoned Insurance Executive and Turnaround Leader Joins Strategic Advisory Firm

[July 06, 2026] - Insurex, a strategic advisory firm serving insurance carriers, distribution organizations, technology firms, and investors, today announced the addition of Dave Anderson as Partner.

Anderson brings more than four decades of executive leadership experience across the insurance industry, with a track record of building high-performing teams and turning around complex organizations. He has served as President, CEO, and Chairman of TIAA Life Insurance Company, President and CEO of InsPro Technologies, President and CEO of Merit Life Insurance Group, and most recently as Interim CEO of Andesa Services, where he led the organization to record profitability before facilitating its successful sale. He spent 27 years at Thrivent Financial, rising to Senior Vice President and leading the transformation of its operations organization.

At Insurex, Anderson will focus on business strategy, organizational design, operations, and IT engagements, drawing on his experience working with organizations on M&A transactions.

Anderson also serves as an Adjunct Professor and Executive in Residence at Queens University’s McColl School of Business in Charlotte, where he teaches Leadership and Management and has served on the Board of Advisors since 2014.
